During one of these events, try tracking down Tortimer to receive the Spring Medal.

April

April Fools' Day
Date: April 1st
Beginning: 6AM
End: 12AM

On April Fools', your villagers will be in the mood for pranks, so be sure to talk to them and they'll bombard you with lots of tales of mischief. You'll need to wake up early to be able to grab the mushrooms on the ground each morning; there are 5 at different spots, and every 15 minutes, one of them will be devoured by one of your villagers, leaving one less mushroom for you. You can sell the mushrooms at Tom Nook's for a hefty sum, so be sure to do just that.

End: 1AM

Note: A couple of weeks before Halloween, Tom Nook will begin selling candy, which you can use to feed the villagers on Halloween night, who will all be costumed in a pumpkin outfit, lurking around and asking for candy. On Halloween night, an interesting character will visit your town - Jack. Your true goal on Halloween night is to seek him out and give him candy; you will receive an item from the Spooky Set. Try evading the villagers so you'll have candy left for Jack; a nice strategy is to hide the candy in your letters so if, by any chance, the villagers will run up to you and talk to you, you won't have any candy to give. However, be sure to have a piece of candy out once you talk to Jack, or he'll turn your current shirt into a bunch of rags!

Copper and Booker's deeds are celebrated on this day; after all, where would your town be without the proper security? Talk to Tortimer, who's at his usual spot, to receieve the Police Model.

Harvest Festival
Date: 4th Thurday in November
Beginning: 3PM
End: 9PM

Thanksgiving isn't only celebrated in the real world; nay, your villagers are also roistering! Talk to the mayor, who's near the Wishing Well, to hear an interesting tale; apparently, Tortimer invited a special guest to attend the banquet, but that guest just happened to be a turkey, so, naturally, the guest didn't show up. Your goal is to find the guest, whose name is Franklin, somewhere in your town. He's hiding either behind a tree or a house. Once you talk to him, you'll listen to his sad tale; your goal then is to go back to the Wishing Well, grab the knife and fork from the table there, and bring it back to Franklin, who will bestow upon you a piece from the Harvest series; there are many pieces, so repeat the process multiple times throughout the day!

Sale Day
Date: 4th Friday in November
Beginning: Once Your Nook Store Opens
End: Once Your Nook Store Closes

Right after the Harvest Festival, Tom Nook is in a great mood; therefore, he's decided to throw a sale! Almost all of his normal items will be replaced with grab bags, which are bags that feature three random items. After you buy as many as you like, check out Crazy Redd's store, who has also come to town after hearing of Nook's sale; after all, wouldn't it be a perfect time to compete? Be sure to chat with Tortimer, too, to receive the Market Model.

Jingle Comes To Town
Date: December 24th
Beginning: 8PM
End: 1AM

Jingle the reindeer will be walking around your town starting at 8PM, and you get the chance to acquire pieces from the Jingle set. Try finding Jingle 5 times in your town during the time frame of 8PM - 1AM, and once you do, you'll get one of the pieces from the Jingle set. You can get more by pretending you're a different person; how will you do that? Easy - just change your clothes into something very different, and repeat the process all over again.

New Year's Eve
Date: December 31st
Beginning: 11PM
End: 1AM

Everyone is in a festive mood tonight, and for good reason; another wonderful year is almost over, and another is just beginning! Join your villagers and Tortimer near your town's lake at 11PM for the countdown (and talk to Tortimer while you are there for the Noisemaker), celebrate with fireworks at 12AM, and continue celebrating for another hour. Life's good, isn't it?
