Yeah, kinda following on from the thread about the letter "z"...

I've heard two different ways of it being pronounced, which are "aitch" and "haitch".

Haitch sounds kinda weird to me since I'm used to saying aitch.

What about you guys? How do you pronounce it?

aitch/eitch(depending on your reference, a/e is pronounced different in swedish so it kinda follows with that).

never heard of adding an extra h tbh.
 
Aitch for myself, I've heard the other instance when people from Europe speak English sometimes.
 
I say it like "aitch", but in Spanish they say it like "ah-chay" so that's kinda interesting.

I've never heard someone use the other saying before.
 
I pronounce it ?aitch?. Also, what?s up with these letter pronounciation threads? Are these the new ?are hotdogs a sandwich?? type of threads? Lmao

I didn?t know there was another way to pronounce the letter H.

I used to say haitch when I was little because that's what I was taught. Now I say aitch tho
