Have you enjoyed reading Visual Novels in general?

It doesn't have to be romance or dating sim related, it could be a mystery visual novel or a story-heavy visual novel. The first visual novel I've dipped into is Witch on the Holy Night since it's the only officially translated Type-Moon visual novel so far. It might have been a long walk to the good stuff but it's fun to read.

feel free to share which visual novels you read or enjoy here.
If there's any spoiler you want to share. Be sure to blur or hide any spoilers for Visual Novels under the spoiler tags, thank you!

I've read many visual novels. Mostly otome/dating sim, but also a few horror and/or mystery. Some are definitely better than others, but overall I enjoy them. I'm happy to see that so many otome games have been released on the Switch over the last couple of years.

I've played a few, but the only one I completed was Digimon Survive. I really enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! I think the darker tone helped, even though I'm not usually a big fan of that tone.

I love visual novels.

Love, Sam is a great niche one that sticks out to me.

I usually try to finish them in one long sitting. If it's possible, like Doki Doki Literature Club.

I like visual novels! Funny part is, I have zero patience for redoing parts because I got the bad end, which I know is the point of visual novels lol. I'm currently reading through Little Busters and it's really cute!

I haven’t finished this game yet but I have it and it’s a lot of fun I really am enjoying it :)

I love visual novels, but most of them, even the good ones, have some pacing issues.

The House in Fata Morgana is one of my favorite games of all time. It tells a complex, intense story set over hundreds of years while having stunning artwork and an atmospheric soundtrack that is reminiscent of the Nier games. Don’t bother with the sequel or prequel though. The former has much worse art and bad voice acting and the prequel is mostly just events that are already described in heavy detail in the original.
